Meeting with MWA
On 17 May, 2010, Mr. Vu Kim Quyen, SEAWUN Executive Director had a meeting with the President of the Malaysian Water Association (MWA) - Mr. Ahmad Zahdi Jamil. Mr. Shaharis Saad, Executive Director and Mr. Mohamad Hairi Basri - General Secretary of MWA also participated in the meeting.

Specialized Course for Regulators and Consultants on Best Practices for Sewer Network Inspection and Assessment
SEAWUN and the Integrated Enviro-Water Management Sdn Bhn (Malaysia) successfully organized the Specialized Course for Regulators and Consultants on Best Practices for Sewer Network Inspection and Assessment from 16 - 21 May, 2010 in Kuala Lumpur as part of the Pipeline Assessment and Certification Program which is funded by the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Program (MTCP), Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Officers from the regulators of sewerage and drainage field and engineers, technical managers from sewerage and drainage companies in Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Sri Lanka and Vietnam participated in this event.

6th Governing Board Meeting of SEAWUN Term II
On 23rd June, 2009, the 6th Governing Board Meeting of SEAWUN Term II took place at the Suntec International Convention Center, Singapore and was chaired by Mr. Lee Koon Yew, President. Five board members, namely Mr. Lee Koon Yew, Mr. Vu Kim Quyen, Mr. Noupheuak Virabouth, Mr. Chong Hou Chun and Mr. Romeo Calara were present while the other board member - Mr. Achmand Marju Kodri delegated Mr. Mr. Purwoko Hadi, PERPAMSI Executive Director to attend the meeting on his behalf. The Secretariat was also present to report on SEAWUN operations and financial status. -
STUDY TOUR TO PSP CASES IN CAMBODIA, LAOS, VIETNAM
WSP/WB and SEAWUN organized a study tour to four selected water supply and sanitation cases with PSP in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia for delegates from these three countries from 19 to 25 April, 2009. -
Conference on Sanitation Options in the Asia Pacific
The Conference on Sanitation Options in the Asia Pacific was jointly organized for the first time in Vietnam by the International Water Association (IWA) and Southeast Asian Water Utilities Network (SEAWUN) from 18-20 November. The Conference was endorsed by the Ministry of Construction, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, sponsored by Vitens – Evides and Vewin and supported by ADB, eawag, JICA, USAID. -
SEAWUN Leadership Forum
Supported by Ministry of Public Works and Transport, Lao PDR and Asian Development Bank, the SEAWUN Leadership Forum was held in Luang Prabang, Lao PDR on 28-29 October 2008. The Forum attracted the participation of 100 people including leaders and managers of water and wastewater utilities, government officials, international organizations, managers, experts and specialists in water sector in South East Asia and Asia – Pacific region plus water associations and entrepreneurs.
